The 2023 Sustainability Report looks at how sustainability is becoming an increasingly integral part of SYSTRA's practices, and in particular at its climate commitments.

expression of the particular people who live in them, their needs and desires and ways of life. That doesn’t
sound like such a radical idea today, but a glance at the history of urban planning, especially the heroic errors
of the 20th century, makes it obvious that it is an idea that is not always well understood.

Data is a key component in most projects and requires considerable skill to successfully capture, process, analyse and communicate, enabling the best decisions to be made.

The gender pay gap shows the difference in the median hourly rate of pay for men and for women, expressed as a percentage of the men’s median’s salary. The gender pay gap is an indicator of lack of female representation in senior, more highly paid roles.

Understanding the barriers and social impacts of transport schemes has never been more important, with the COVID-19 pandemic and UK cost of living pressures introducing additional challenges for mobility for many people and efforts to achieve net zero providing opportunities to address these.
