Context

Sr. Transport Planner required for NCR location. To take up ongoing projects viz. GIFT City, Gurgaon MMI and additionally to support on projects in pipeline Viz. MPTD project, Water metro and other DPRs, etc.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Inviting applications for Senior Transport Planner for ongoing projects in handled from NCR (Faridabad/Noida).
  • Co-ordination work for preparation of Comprehensive Mobility Plans, Feasibility Reports, DPRs for Public Transport Systems such as buses, BRTS, Metro, Mero lite and Metro NEO.
  • Preparation of Study Reports and Presentation decks.
  • Analysis on Primary and secondary traffic and transportation data
  • Conduct and supervise primary traffic and transportation surveys.
  • GIS-based Analysis using tools such QGIS/Arc GIS Pro.
  • Preparation of Travel Demand Model using VISUM.
  • Presentations to the client, Interaction with the client and review work of sub consultants
  • Work/ coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Willing to travel for project work across India to various locations for survey work supervision, data collection and client interactions

Profile/Skills

  • Degree in Architecture/ Civil Engineering/ Planning
  • Master’s degree in Transport Planning/Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in the field of Transport Planning projects / Electric Mobility / Transport Engineering / Transport Modelling projects
  • Good Knowledge of QGIS/Arc GIS Pro
  • Knowledge of transport modelling software’s such as Cube, VISUM, and microsimulation software’s (VISSIM) would be an added advantage
  • Must have strong time-management skills and maintain focus and discipline
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about public transport and sustainable mobility
