Context
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) Engineer to join our team for the design and construction of metro rail projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
Missions/Main Duties
- Develop and implement RAMS strategies and plans for metro rail projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct RAMS analyses, including Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD).
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate RAMS requirements into project designs.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance against RAMS targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare and present RAMS reports and documentation to stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and project teams.
- Lead risk assessments and safety audits to ensure project compliance with safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on RAMS-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in RAMS management.
Profile/Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
- Proven experience in RAMS management within the rail or transportation industry, particularly in metro projects.
- Strong knowledge of RAMS methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in RAMS software tools and modelling techniques.
- Certification in RAMS or related fields is a plus.
- Preferably with UAE or GCC experience.
