Context

Missions/Main Duties

QA/QC Specialist. 

 

Support the Quality team in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the company’s quality management system and processes, ensuring high standards of deliverables and compliance with applicable standards and client requirements.

 

1. Assistance in Quality Audits: Support the planning and execution of internal and external quality audits; assist in recording findings and following up on corrective actions.

2. Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain quality documents such as procedures, work instructions, checklists, and records in line with ISO and company requirements.

3. Process Monitoring: Participate in reviews and inspections of project processes and deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards.

4. Non-Conformance Management: Assist in the identification, reporting, investigation, and tracking of non-conformities; support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

5. Quality Reporting: Compile data and prepare regular reports on quality performance indicators for management.

6. Support in Training: Help organize and deliver quality awareness sessions to promote a quality culture within the team.

7. Continuous Improvement: Work with team members to identify areas of improvement, suggest solutions, and support quality improvement initiatives.

8. Client and Stakeholder Interaction: Support the quality team in responding to quality-related queries from stakeholders.

9. Regulation & Standards Update: Stay current with relevant quality standards, project specifications, and customer requirements.

Profile/Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field with 2-4 years of experience.

· Relevant experience in quality management or quality assurance, ideally in an engineering, construction, or industrial environment.

· Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.

· Motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning and professional development.

 

Skills:

 

· Analytical Skills: Ability to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to quality issues.

· Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and completeness in documentation and processes.

· Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly document findings and interact with various stakeholders.

· Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks, maintaining organized records, and meeting deadlines.

· Teamwork: Collaborative mindset; able to work effectively within a team and support more senior staff.

· IT Proficiency: Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quality management software/tools.

· Problem-solving: Proactive in identifying issues and supporting the implementation of corrective/preventive actions.

· Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures, standards, and project requirements.

· Basic Audit Techniques: Knowledge or exposure to audit processes and non-conformance management.

· Ethics & Compliance: Demonstrates a high standard of integrity and understanding of confidentiality.
