Context
The Operations Data & Automation Specialist will be based in the Philippines, reporting to the Line Manager in the Philippines and working under the supervision of the Systra ANZ Operations Manager (Australia-based). This role will provide remote support for Systra ANZ business activities in Australia.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining automated processes, integrating operational data, generating reports, and enhancing internal system workflows. The specialist will leverage tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint to streamline processes and deliver actionable insights to Systra ANZ’s corporate and operational leadership teams.
Missions/Main Duties
DIGITAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT & PROCESS AUTOMATION
• Design, build, and maintain custom systems and business tools using PowerApps to support a range of internal business functions (Operations, HR, Finance, Business Development, Production) and digitalize operational workflows.
• Ensure the ongoing operation, accessibility, and reliability of developed PowerApps solutions
• Automate business processes using Power Automate, in strict compliance with SAIMS (SYSTRA ANZ Integrated Management system) and ensure seamless data integration with PowerApps and SharePoint
• Integrate, synchronize, and manage operational data across systems, primarily within Power BI and SharePoint.
• Analyze workflows and identify automation opportunities, proposing technology-based improvements for local systems and tools.
• Ensure robust documentation of data flows, automation logic, and integration processes.
DATA ANALYSIS & REPORTING
• Conduct in-depth data analysis on operational performance to generate actionable business insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring real-time and accurate information for stakeholders.
• Support quality control and troubleshooting across data pipelines and dashboards.
• Manage the quality, integrity, and security of data flowing through automated solutions, enforcing data governance and Office 365 security best practices.
BUSINESS SUPPORT & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
• Work cross-functionally with Systra ANZ Operations and corporate leaders to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions.
• Champion quality and attention to detail, ensuring all outputs meet internal audit and compliance standards.
• Stay current with advancements in automation and BI tools, proactively recommending enhancements.
• Prepare and update clear procedure manuals, user guidelines, and technical documentation for all developed systems, ensuring alignment with Systra IMS (SAIMS) standards and ongoing support needs

EDUCATION:
Bachelor level qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years’ experience in business process automation and systems development using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Office 365.
