Context
Develop of scheme and detail design of roads, bridges and railways require a different specialization and skill compared to building structures. The above responsibilities differentiates an alignment drawing developer against the other drawing disciplines devoted to structural or architectural or MEPF.
Missions/Main Duties
▪Model Creation and Management:
-Create detailed 3D models and drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems using Revit.
-Manage and update existing models based on engineer feedback and project requirements
▪Coordination and Collaboration:
-Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure system integration and clash detection
-Participate in project meetings to discuss design and construction details
▪Documentation and Quality Control:
-Produce and review construction drawings for accuracy and compliance with company standards
-Ensure all documents meet quality standards and are delivered on time
▪Design and Development:
-Assist in designing mechanical systems such as HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing -Develop fire protection systems, including sprinkler layouts and alarm systems
▪Communication and Teamwork:
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with project teams.
-Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to discussions on modeling workflows and best practices.
▪Performing other duties as may be required and assigned from time to time.
Profile/Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant drafting experience
- Must know AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit.
- Minimum an educational background in drafting technology with training in CAD softwares; and
- Civil Engineering background is a definite advantage but not a must.
