SYSTRA can adapt the tool to incorporate emissions datasets from any region in the world, ensuring your carbon assessments are reliable and relevant to your local regulatory environment.

Which data sources does ENEVAL use for emissions modelling?

ENEVAL draws its data from the most trusted national and international sources to ensure your assessments are accurate and defensible. In the UK, we use NAEI and TAG parameters. This is complemented by COPERT (Computer Programme to calculate Emissions from Road Transport) data, which is the European standard for calculating vehicle emissions.

How does ENEVAL use the Emissions Factors Toolkit (EFT) for air quality assessments?

ENEVAL is designed to work with the Emissions Factors Toolkit (EFT) published by the British government. We use the EFT to provide the underlying emission rates for specific pollutants, including carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM2.5), and methane (CH4). By combining these official factors with detailed traffic data from our strategic and microsimulation models, ENEVAL provides a more granular view of how those emissions are distributed across your specific network.
