The SYSTRA Ltd Armed Forces Community provides colleagues with a safe space where they can openly discuss their experiences and explore ways in which SYSTRA can better support service leavers and veterans in their transition into civilian employment, and enhance the workplace for our colleagues who have a connection to the Armed Forces.
SYSTRA Ltd is proud to have made a pledge to the Armed Forces Covenant, which is a promise by the nation ensuring those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly.

Many different types of organisations can implement the Covenant, including Government departments, local authorities, schools, charities and businesses. The principles promote equality when providing goods and services to, or when employing, members of the Armed Forces community.
We recognise the importance of demonstrating our support for the Armed Forces. The ideas and insights of our Armed Forces Community are invaluable in assisting SYSTRA Ltd in achieving the commitments made in our pledge and ensuring we are successful in achieving an inclusive and supportive environment for all colleagues.
Dave Duncombe, a Technical Expert (Professional Head) in our Engineering Business, was previously a Weapons Engineer on submarines. He said:

I’m extremely proud of my 23 years’ service in the Royal Navy and as a veteran I’m involved in supporting service leavers and veterans transition into civilian life. So, you can imagine how proud I am to work for a company who have recently shown their support to the Armed Forces by signing up to the Armed Forces Covenant.
