SYSTRA joins the ALAMYS network
At the start of October, SYSTRA joined the ALAMYS (Asociación Latinoamericana de Metros Y Subterráneos), whose members include most South American metro operators and transport engineering companies (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Panama, Venezuela).
The main aim of the network is to improve services to passengers, but its secondary aim is to promote partnerships and the sharing of experience among members.
Membership of the ALAMAYS network gives the Latin American Region an excellent opportunity to raise its profile and continue to develop sales across the continent.
ALAMYS organises an annual General Meeting for all members.
SYSTRA will take part in the next one, from 7th to 10th December, in Mexico City. Discussions will focus on problems concerning fare policy and ticketing.
Colas Martinet, the EVP of the Latin America Region, along with Slobodan Petrovic Lopez, the new Director of the Mexico Sector, will represent SYSTRA.
Joan Serrano, Design Manager for the Consulting Directorate, will give a talk on 9th December about “How transport engineers can help fare policies: an integrated approach from strategy to fare collection”.
