For the first time SYSTRA is taking part in the BIM World exhibition
Our stand will display the 3D model produced for Société du Grand Paris at Espace Grande Arche - Paris La Défense on 6-7 April.
BIM (Building Information Modelling) enhances all stages of the infrastructure life cycle, from design to construction and maintenance, which is why we integrate it into our projects and offer it to our clients around the world. SYSTRA already has solid references thanks to this tool including the Grand Paris Express in France, the Ostlänken high-speed line in Sweden, Crossrail in London, the Singapore metro and the Chacao Channel bridge in Chile.
BIM offers real progress by integrating all the graphical, non-graphical and documentary data relating to an infrastructure project in a single model. It combines and capitalises on the production capabilities of all of SYSTRA’s businesses, and helps with decision-making and communications starting at the design stage by placing the final project in its local environment.
SYSTRA can create a virtual infrastructure model today that shows the actual infrastructure in its future form, as it will be in the operating/maintenance stage. This has obvious advantages for our clients in terms of their expectations, reliability and the optimisation of project costs.
On 6 and 7 April, SYSTRA will be at the BIM World exhibition for the first time. Our stand will display the 3D model produced for Société du Grand Paris (in partnership with Vectuel and Magelium) and our digital solutions providing assistance with:
- railway system design
- technical data management
- project appropriation
The Grand Paris’ stations on which SYSTRA works are these ones:
- Vitry Centre
- Les Ardoines
- Le Vert de Maisons
- Créteil L’Echat
- Saint-Maur Créteil
- Champigny Centre
