Context

The Site Engineer (Interface Integration) is responsible for managing and coordinating the physical and functional interfaces between different systems or disciplines on a construction site. This role ensures that subsystems (such as civil works, track, signaling, telecoms, power, etc.) are fully integrated and adhere to the design, schedule, safety, and operational requirements

Missions/Main Duties

  • Act as the focal point for interface issues between different contractors on-site.
  • Review of interface control documents (ICDs), interface registers, Coordinated Interface Programmes, hand-over documents between contractors and other interface documentation, and ensure compliance with interface agreements.
  • Liaise with contractors, and client representatives to coordinate interface work.
  • Ensure implementation of the agreed interfaces as per approved methods and safety standards.
  • Provide on-site solutions to unforeseen interface issues and escalate significant risks to management.
  • Prepare regular updates and reports on interface integration status to project management.

Profile/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
  • Minimum (10) years’ experience in the required field of expertise for railway projects
  • Prior experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects, ideally in rail or metro.
  • Understanding of interface management tools and documentation.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • Problem-solving orientation and attention to detail.
  • GCC Experience
