Context

SYSTRA Taiwan Branch is dedicated to Taiwan and the Group's global rail transit system-related projects, encompassing feasibility analysis, system design, project management, testing and integration, trial operation, and commissioning operations. Currently, we are actively participating in rail transportation projects across Taiwan, with offices located in Taipei and Kaohsiung.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Lead the design, technical studies, and management of railway system projects, including Rolling Stock, and Depot equipment.
  • Develop review, and enforce engineering specifications, standards, and procedures for railway system design and construction.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges, optimizing solutions to meet project objectives within budget and schedule constraints..
  • Provide technical guidance and support in project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers to foster professional development and knowledge sharing within the team.

Profile/Skills

  • Diploma Holder in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in rolling stock design or railway system.
  • Strong knowledge of rolling stock systems, depot equipment, railway engineering principles, and industry standards.
  • Proven experience in project management, technical problem-solving, and multi-disciplinary coordination.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Professional engineering license or certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese (written and spoken)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Good command of English and Chinese.
