Bio

Andrew has over 30 years of experience in the national security sector across diverse agencies, capabilities, and domains.  He brings a compelling track record of respected leadership and trusted advice. Specialising in generational change and transformative capabilities for over 20 years, Andrew excels in implementing tailored, fit-for-purpose solutions within national security agencies. His accomplishments include pivotal roles in projects like the Joint Strike Fighter and Landing Helicopter Dock.

Andrew’s leadership style is characterised by vision, purpose, and insight, delivering strategic results with innovation, pragmatism, and a value-focused approach. He fosters lasting collaborative relationships, working seamlessly across maritime, aviation, joint/integrated force, capability systems, and critical infrastructure. Andrew demonstrates acumen throughout the capability lifecycle, from concept development to acquisition, sustainment and disposal.

Andrew has overseen program and project management, capability management, commercial and supplier management, asset and lifecycle management, transformation/change management, culture, business development and client relationship management, product support, sustainment, strategic logistics, governance, risk, and program transition planning.

In his voluntary role with the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), Andrew is the incoming President of the ACT Chapter. Additionally, he holds the position of Defence Community of Practice Lead for AIPM and has been a national judge for the AIPM Project Management Achievement Awards since 2016.
