SYSTRA is working as Employer’s Representative (General Consultant) on behalf of long-standing client the National Authority for Tunnels (NAT).
Once complete, the EET, which will carry both passengers and freight, will consist of three main lines (Blue, Red and Green) over a length of 2,000km connecting all the governorates of the country.
The project aims to connect the three lines as a complete network with airports, seaports, dry ports, and logistics areas.
A PROMINENT ROLE FOR SYSTRA
Within the consortium, SYSTRA is in charge of integrating, ensuring, monitoring, co-ordinating, following up and facilitating the execution of the overall project working with the support of our local historical partners Arab Consulting Engineers (ACE) and SHAKER Consultancy Group and act as Employer’s Representative to manage the delivery of the Blue Line and the Red Line, a total of 1,325km and 39 stations, in 48 months.

It will also contribute to the creation of thousands of job opportunities, stimulate economic growth, and improve the quality of life of the local population.
