To mark International Women's Day, which is all about inclusion, we are honouring our women engineers. Recognised in their profession, prize-winners, or the originators of remarkable initiatives, discover the profiles and testimonies of 9 of them.

Cecilia Clerwall, Group Operations HR Director

I manage a team of over 40 geotechnical engineers, geologists, and geoscientists, who are involved in major projects in the field of ground engineering. I am one of Ground Engineering magazine’s Top 20 Women Engineers.


Charlotte Woodhall Jones, Ground Engineering Lead, United Kingdom

I have further strengthened SYSTRA’s solid position in Taiwan, and I am very proud of the double contract recently won by my teams to support the development of the Kaohsiung metro for 8 years.


Victoria Chen, General Manager, Taiwan

I have implemented in India the Sustainable Design & Construction Framework developed by the Group’s Sustainability department. I also handle project delivery of PMC projects in Dhaka, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Mumbai.


Soumya Sinha, Project Management Officer, India

I am one of the winners of the Young Leaders in Rail Awards presented by the International Railway Journal (IRJ), a leading rail magazine, which singled me out for my project management skills in interfacing with multiple international clients.


Florina Hoza, Systems Project Manager, France

I am honoured to have won the FIDIC Future Leaders Award for 2023*. It is a prestigious award which acknowledges and promotes the achievements of future leaders in the consulting engineering industry worldwide. This award holds a special place in my heart as it enhances my professional journey as a Project Manager at SYSTRA and helps me in my wish to work in several countries.


Jyothsna Amrith, Project Director, Denmark

I am a landscape architect and I am contributing my expertise to the Mwanza Central Station project in Tanzania, and to the design coordination of Landscape and Environmental requirements for the HS2 project in the UK with the aid of BIM.


Carel Saliba, Landscape Architect, United Arab Emirates

I managed the construction of the Rusumo footbridge in Rwanda, with the NGO Bridges to Prosperity and an international team of 10 SYSTRA employees, in the service of the inhabitants of this region.


Camille Le Pen Sénéchal, Bridge Engineer, France

I was a finalist in the BIG Biodiversity Challenge 2023 for my contribution to the safeguarding of protected species as part of a road infrastructure renovation project in the United Kingdom.
