Prisca Flattot, Senior Vice-President, Technical and Operational Performance at SYSTRA, was officially appointed Chair of the Industry Division of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), following its General Assembly held on 23 June 2026.
Prisca Flattot takes the helm of UITP’s Industry Division

UITP brings together global stakeholders in public transport and sustainable mobility, including transport authorities, operators, manufacturers, experts, researchers, and public decision-makers. With 2,000 members in more than 100 countries, it helps drive the sector forward through the sharing of expertise, knowledge production, advocacy, and networking.

The Industry Division brings together UITP members from the industrial sector. As Chair of this division, Prisca Flattot will also sit on the association’s Policy Board and Executive Board, which help define UITP’s positions and strategic direction on public transport and sustainable mobility.

With 17 years of international experience in engineering, and as a civil engineering graduate specialising in structures from the ‘École nationale des ponts’, Prisca Flattot has contributed to major rail and urban infrastructure projects in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, including HS2 in the United Kingdom, Etihad Rail in the United Arab Emirates, the Al Mashaaer Al Mugadassah Metro in Saudi Arabia, Jabodebek LRT in Indonesia, and Kuala Lumpur LRT3 in Malaysia.

She now leads SYSTRA’s technical and operational performance on a global scale, fostering collaboration among teams across different countries, the sharing of expertise, and the transformation of production methods aimed at improving project performance. Her role also covers innovation, with the introduction of digital solutions and engineering systems designed to strengthen the operational efficiency of major projects.

Beyond her operational responsibilities, Prisca Flattot is also involved in initiatives with strong social and educational impact. She co-sponsors a solidarity initiative developed through SYSTRA’s partnership with the NGO Engineers in Action, which draws on the Group’s employees to design and build pedestrian bridges in isolated regions around the world. She also sponsors the ‘Engineering for Kids’ programme, created within her teams, which has already helped raise awareness of engineering careers among more than 5,000 children.

This election comes just days after she was recognised by the International Railway Journal as part of the Women in Rail Awards 2026, which honour female professionals whose leadership, expertise, and impact help advance the rail sector.
