Missions/Main Duties

 

  • Handles advanced responsibilities related to commercial management of MEP works for construction projects.
  • The role involves quantity surveying tasks such as take-off, interim payments, and variation assessments while ensuring compliance with contractual terms and supporting Quantity surveying engineer staff within a project-based setup.
  • Key Accountabilities
  • Prepare quantity take-offs for MEP Works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
  • Preparing the evaluation of subcontractor and supplier invoices.
  • preparing Payment interim for MEP Works and commercial documentation.
  • Preparing Variation assessments and ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
  • Guide and mentor MEP Quantity surveying engineers.
  • Collaborate with planning, procurement, and site teams to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Maintain well-documented records for contractual purposes.

Profile/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical Engineering.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in MEP quantity surveying in construction projects.
  • Deep understanding of MEP systems, specifications, and construction methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration (especially FIDIC), and local codes.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Good command of English.
