Verification & Validation (V & V) Lead

Context

Systra Canada is looking for a V&V Lead for Transit Projects in Ontario.

Missions/Main Duties

• Develop and maintain the V&V Strategy and Master V&V Plan for the SRS scope;
• Define V&V methods and evidence requirements for each level of requirements;
• Coordinate preparation of test procedures, inspection plans and other V&V artefacts;
• Track execution of V&V activities and management of findings / defects;
• Prepare V&V status reports and contribute to safety case and acceptance documentation.

Profile/Skills

• University degree in Engineering;
• 10+ years’ experience in verification & validation, testing and commissioning or assurance for rail / transit systems;
• Strong knowledge of V&V planning, test methods, evidence management and defect resolution;
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders during system testing and acceptance.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario or equivalent;
• Formal training in verification & validation and/or testing/commissioning (CENELEC EN 50126/8/9 or similar) considered an asset
