Éric de Balincourt has been appointed CEO of SYSTRA France, with effect from 4 November 2024. In this role, he will be responsible for developing SYSTRA's business in France, the Group's home market, and for making the French subsidiary a key player in mobility, urban planning and transportation.

Éric de Balincourt has been appointed CEO of SYSTRA France with effect from 4 November. He will join the SYSTRA Group’s Global Leadership Team alongside the Group’s other business units directors and directors of support functions.

Éric de Balincourt is a graduate of the ENTPE engineering school and has a dual background in the public and private sectors. After holding several regional positions as an Engineer for the Ministry of Equipment, he joined the private sector in 2008. He joined Spie batignolles as Director of Development and worked on all PPP (public-private partnership) and concession infrastructure projects. In 2018, he became CEO of Spie batignolles International, mainly working on projects in Francophone Africa, Quebec and Western Europe. He then further broadened his scope of responsibilities by becoming CEO of Spie batignolles valérian – the Group’s earthworks subsidiary – and a member of the COMEX, before becoming CEO of the Group’s Infrastructures division in 2022 and a member of the General Management Committee.

The Group’s French subsidiary is developing its business to meet the major challenges faced by its clients, whether public or private: urban mobility, regional networking, flow management, complex systems and networks, environmental and energy transitions, optimising their assets, making the most of data throughout the lifecycle, etc. SYSTRA France also has skills in operations management, consultancy, land and environmental engineering and consultancy, and is diversifying into fields related to mobility.
