Quantity Surveyor (Madinah)

Context

SYSTRA is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor works for BRT project. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the management of costs, contracts, and commercial aspects of complex infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on the Civil Discipline. This role is based out at Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

Missions/Main Duties

• Prepare and establish both priced and unpriced Bills of Quantities (BoQ) from design deliverables for client approval.
• Experience in preparation of BoQ in Arabic
• Review and analyze design documents to prepare accurate quantity estimates based on the provided scope.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure accurate interpretation of project requirements and alignment on design specifications.
• Assess material and resource costs to ensure value for money.
• Track and document design changes, updating budgets as necessary.
• Maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensures smooth communication and coordination.
• Prepare regular reports, budget forecasts, and other documentation as needed.
• Travel to project sites as required to support design and budget management

Profile/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field with 10 years experience.
• KSA experience is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying within a design consultancy environment.
• Strong understanding of design project cost management, budgeting, and financial tracking.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
