SYSTRA UK and Ireland Executive Board
nick salt, chief executive officer
Nick joined SYSTRA Ltd in November 2019 as CEO. Before SYSTRA he was Managing Director of the Infrastructure Division at Galliford Try Plc. He has spent over 20 years in the design and delivery of infrastructure in rail and the wider transportation industry.
Jonathan Scott, Managing Director Engineering
A Chartered Engineer with more than 30 years’ experience, Jonathan is a recognised leader in infrastructure delivery across transportation and other sectors. He has directed major projects in the UK and internationally, including California High-Speed Rail, and is a Fellow of both the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET) and The Permanent Way Institute (PWI). Jonathan also lectures on operational degree courses at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Chris Judge, Managing Director of Consultancy
Chris has spent the last 23 years working in the rail and transport industry, and holds a Master’s degree in Transport Economics at the University of Leeds Institute for Transport Studies.
He joined SYSTRA in 2022 as the Business Director for our Consultancy Rail Team, bringing a focus on enhancing the team’s capabilities and delivering value for our clients.
As the Managing Director of Consultancy, Chris is supporting the sustainable growth of the wider business.

dave staton, commercial Director
Dave holds a degree in Civil Engineering and Commercial Management and has spent more than 25 years in design, consultancy and main contractor commercial roles across the utilities, infrastructure and transport sector.
Since joining SYSTRA Limited in 2019, Dave has led all commercial aspects of the business. This includes a significant growth of the commercial team and associated capability, to meet the requirements of both SYSTRA’s clients and business alike. Dave’s leadership of the commercial team covers all phases, types and sizes of engineering projects, including HS2, Transpennine Route Upgrade, and Gatwick Airport Station.
SUZANNE WALKER, Human Resources Director
Suzanne is an experienced HR Director focussing on talent management, company values and employee engagement as well as influencing strategy and policy. Suzanne was HR Director for TSP Projects and then SYSTRA since 2018.
DAVID WHITE, DIRECTOR OF HEALTH, SAFETY, SECURITY & SUSTAINABILITY
David is experienced in leading change and putting people first, and heads up SYSTRA’scommitment to keeping colleagues safe and well, and lowering the carbon impact of its UK & Ireland activities. He brings a wealth of experience delivering positive cultural change in this context in a number of sectors including construction, pharmaceutical, food manufacture and wastewater treatment.
STEPHEN ANDREWS, Chief Financial Officer
Stephen is an experienced CFO, and recently executed the sale of TSP Projects to SYSTRA Limited at the end of August 2019. His principal experience is with professional consulting businesses, business to business outsourcing, with significant contracting experience. Previous roles include Director of Finance at WSP UK
PAUL MORGAN, General Counsel & Company Secretary
Paul advises and assists SYSTRA Ltd’s Board of Directors as Company Secretary and he is responsible for the delivery of legal services to the business on all aspects of statutory and legal compliance as well as legal risk management on delivery tenders and contracts.
As well as being admitted to practice as a solicitor in the UK and Australia, Paul is a Graduate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Prior to joining SYSTRA Ltd in 2017, Paul was an inhouse construction counsel at Australia’s largest contractor and he has a strong track record of providing strategic legal advice..
