SYSTRA UK & Ireland will be attending the Inspiring Women in Construction & Engineering Conference & Awards, taking place September 16 at the Royal Lancaster, London. The event celebrates the role models and organisations empowering women in construction and engineering, and aims to provide networking opportunities and learning resources to help women progress in their careers. With a continued focus towards encouraging the development of women within the sector and improving ED&I policy, the Inspiring Women event brings together women from across both the construction and engineering sectors to network, learn and celebrate their successes.
We are also very excited to announce that our colleague Lou Garrick, Engineer (Geologist) and Disability Lead for our ED&I Colleague Engagement Group ‘Everyone Onboard’, has been shortlisted in the ‘Allyship Champion of the Year’ category, which recognises an individual ally who has gone the extra mile to encourage greater diversity and inclusion in order to support women within both sectors.
