Two experts from this firm will be based in Quebec City to support the Bureau de projet du réseau structurant de transport en commun on a full-time basis for the duration of the contract. In parallel, other resources will also be available, depending on the needs of the project. This complementary expertise will ensure optimal decision-making regarding the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the future network.
The expertise of this firm will contribute to the implementation of a reliable and efficient electrification strategy. Last April, the Quebec government published its 2030 sustainable mobility policy. To meet this goal, the RTC must start thinking today about adapting and modernizing its vehicles, infrastructure, systems, and team training.

The contract, worth a maximum of $12.5 million, will be spread over a seven-year period. It was awarded following a public bidding process launched in July 2018.
Contract For Legal Services
In parallel, Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP will provide professional legal services for the implementation of the Building Network. The contract is awarded for a period of five (5) years and has a maximum value of $375,000. It covers legal support, including the process of obtaining authorizations and permits, as well as aspects related to infrastructure.
