Currently, we are bidding for Highway projects across India. The position of Structural Design Engineer is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

• Review structural design drawings, calculations, and contractor’s submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
• Provide design support and technical solutions for bridges, culverts, retaining structures, and other structural components during construction
• Check structural details, temporary works, and proposed design modifications for safety, adequacy, and constructability
• Coordinate with the supervision team and contractor to resolve structural design issues arising at site
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material specifications related to structural works
• Assist in the evaluation of variations, claims, and design changes affecting structural components

Profile/Skills

• He/She should have degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute, with Master Degree in Structural engineering
• He/She should have minimum 15 years professional experience out of which at least 10 years in structural design and construction.
• He/She shall have a minimum 8 years experience in developing countries and a minimum of 5 years experience in similar nature of projects.
• He/ She shall have knowledge of latest codes, circulars and guidelines of MORTH/IRC/AASHTO/TRL/BIS
