Biography

Mr. Rafik Kaci is responsible for Health, Safety & Security (3S), Quality, and Ethics & Compliance at SYSTRA Canada. With over 30 years’ experience, primarily in the railway, energy and cable industries, he has been involved in the realization of several major infrastructure projects in Canada, from coast to coast.

Mr. Kaci has acquired expertise in project management and the implementation of management systems in Health & Safety (ISO 45011 and COR), in Quality (ISO 9001), and in Environment (ISO 14001).

Mr. Kaci holds an engineering degree and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Science and Technology – University of Lille in France, as well as the following certifications:

  • PMP – Project Management Professional (PMI)
  • CRSP – Canadian Registered Safety Professional (BCRSP)
  • CHSC – Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CSSE)
  • CMQ/OE – Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence by the American Society for Quality (ASQ)
  • CQA – Certified Quality Auditor (ASQ)
  • Six Sigma – Green Belt (Lean Sigma Corporation)
