Missions/Main Duties

The role

In this role, you will support the design and delivery of major roads and highways projects, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality transport infrastructure outcomes.

• Coordinate civil design packages across major transport infrastructure projects
• Develop, review and deliver technical design outputs for roads and highways works
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated project delivery
• Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders throughout design and delivery phases
• Support project planning and help ensure designs meet relevant standards and project requirements
• Take ownership of key design elements and contribute to broader project delivery outcomes

Profile/Skills

What We’re Looking For

• Approximately 8–10 years’ experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on transport infrastructure, roads and highways
• Experience delivering work on major infrastructure projects, ideally within the major D&C environment
• Strong capability in general civil design, including alignment design and related road infrastructure elements such as road furniture
• Proficiency in 12d and confidence producing or coordinating high-quality civil design outputs
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, while liaising with clients and internal stakeholders
• Experience in a zone lead, coordination, or design leadership capacity, or the ambition to grow into a Design Manager/Technical Lead pathway
