SYSTRA India (through Systra MVA Consulting India Pvt Ltd) have been appointed by CTUIL as the Independent Engineer for the critical KPS 1,2 and GIS project. This engagement supports the augmentation of transformation capacity at Khavda Pooling Station-1 (KPS1) and KPS2 (GIS) under the Phase-V Part B1 & B2 scheme for reliable evacuation of renewable energy from India’s largest solar-wind hybrid zone – the Khavda RE Park, Gujarat.
Leveraging our proven expertise in high-voltage GIS substations and independent engineering across India, we are delivering impartial technical oversight, quality assurance, and project supervision to ensure seamless integration of additional renewable power into the national grid.
The scope includes:
- Design review and approval of all substation elements
- Construction supervision and quality monitoring
- Interface coordination with the Transmission Service Provider (TSP)
- Testing, commissioning support, and final certification
- Ensuring full compliance with CEA, CTUIL, and grid standards for reliable renewable energy evacuation
