SYSTRA India is the General Consultant (GC) / Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the complete Systems package of Mumbai Metro Line 6 for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). The assignment covers design review, procurement assistance, construction supervision, systems integration, testing & commissioning, and handover of all electro-mechanical and rolling-stock-related systems.

  • 15.18 km fully elevated corridor with standard-gauge (1,435 mm) tracks and 25 kV 50 Hz AC traction
  • 13 elevated stations designed for high passenger throughput and future-proof interchange facilities
  • State-of-the-art Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling enabling driverless-ready operations (GoA4 capable)
  • Seamless multi-modal integration with suburban rail, bus networks, and other metro lines
  • Comprehensive systems scope delivered under SYSTRA includes Rolling Stock, Signalling, Telecommunication, Platform Screen Doors (PSD), Depot M&P (Maintenance & Plant), Power Supply and Traction, E&M (Main line and depot), Lifts & Escalators, and Automatic Fare Collection (AFC)
