Technical details

Guangzhou South Station is located in Panyu District to the south of Guangzhou. It is currently the busiest rail station in China, serving a number of National High-Speed Rail (HSR) lines across the country.

It is also a core transport hub in Guangzhou, Foshan as well as the Greater Bay Area for interchanges among a variety of transport modes including Intercity Rail, Metro, long-haul coaches, buses, taxis and car-hailing services.

The Transit-oriented development (TOD) project is accounting a total of 867,000sqm GFA for retail, office, hotel, service apartment and residential uses, as well as a total of 341,000sqm GFA for the public transport facilities of the corresponding modes.
