The General Consultant (GC) services for Civil & System Works of Mumbai Metro Line-10 and Line-12 form a strategic assignment by SYSTRA India (in JV with DB Engineering & Consulting) to deliver two vital elevated corridors that will transform connectivity in the northern and eastern suburbs of Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Line-10 extends the network westward from Gaimukh to Shivaji Chowk (Mira Road). In addition, Line-12 (Orange Line) links Kalyan to Taloja, serving high-density residential, industrial and commercial zones. Mumbai Metro Line 10 and 12 GC Services are designed to provide expertise for the successful implementation of these elevated corridors. Together, these fully elevated corridors will ease severe road congestion on Ghodbunder Road and Kalyan-Shilphata corridors. They will also provide seamless interchanges, and cater to a projected daily ridership of over 2.62 lakh by 2031.
As General Consultant, SYSTRA oversees design validation, construction supervision, systems integration, quality & safety management, interface coordination and commissioning. Therefore, this ensures world-class delivery while minimising disruption in a dense urban setting.
