RVNL, Vijayawada : 3rd successful completion of “Chirala to Bapatla Stations” covering a length of 16.740 km

We are pleased to announce the 3rd successful completion of “Chirala to Bapatla Stations” covering a length of 16.740 km for RVNL, Vijayawada.

After the Motor Trolley Inspection and speed Trial at the speed of 125KMPH, the Commissioner of Railway Safety, South-Central Circle Secundrabad (SC), along with other PHODs of SC Railway, gave authorizationfor the opening of the newly constructed 3rd line. The new Section covers:

• 2 crossing stations (Chirala and Bapatla)
• 2 halt stations ( Ippurupalem, Stuvartpuram) with electrification
• 02 Major Bridges ( One PSC Girder Bridge 4×12.2m span
• Open web Steel Girder 1×61.0m+1×45.7m spans)
• 06 Minor Bridges
• 03 Road Over Bridges
• 03 Foot Over Bridges and
• 10 Level Crossing Gates
  
  

RVNL Vijayawada Pkg-3 covers the construction of the 3rd line having a length of 125 km between Karavadi to Krishna Canal Junction and we have completed 61.30Km out of 125Km.
