We are seeking applications for the position of Resident Engineer for Resident Engineer.

 

 

Missions/Main Duties

  • Construction Supervision

    • Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
    • Monitor daily progress, resolve site issues, and ensure the project is executed on schedule.
    • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth construction operations.
  • Quality Assurance & Control

    • Inspect construction works and materials to ensure conformity to design and contractual requirements.
    • Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals.
    • Identify and address defects, non-conformities, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Safety & Compliance

    • Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards at the site.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and ensure implementation of safety protocols.
  • Reporting & Documentation

    • Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and quality records.
    • Report on construction status, key issues, risks, and delays to project management.
    • Review as-built drawings and support certification processes.
  • Coordination & Communication

    • Liaise with design teams, consultants, and the client on technical and site matters.
    • Attend site meetings and provide technical input to resolve construction-related challenges.
    • Support the smooth handover of completed sections of the works.

Profile/Skills

  • Master’s degree in construction management.
  • Graduate in Civil Engineering or Equivalent.
  • More than 15 years of experience.
  • Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
  • Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
