As the Business Line Head – CTR at SYSTRA India, Manish Gupta is a distinguished leader with over two decades of expertise in the design and delivery of complex conventional and high-speed rail systems. He is an Incorporated Engineer (IEng, UK) and a member of both the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE, UK) and the Institution of Engineers (MIE, India). Moreover, Manish brings a global perspective to India’s most ambitious infrastructure projects.

Leading a multidisciplinary team of over 600 professionals, Manish orchestrates strategic project execution with a focus on civil engineering, bridges, and viaducts. His stewardship has been instrumental in the delivery of marquee international assignments, including the prestigious HS2 Phase 1 in the United Kingdom. His extensive portfolio features collaborations with global entities such as Network Rail and Banedanmark. In addition, he also works with Indian Railways, navigating diverse regulatory environments with technical precision.

Manish is a staunch advocate for sustainable development and digital adoption, consistently driving value engineering to optimize lifecycle costs. His leadership philosophy centers on operational excellence and health and safety. Therefore, he ensures that SYSTRA remains a trusted partner for resilient, world-class transit solutions.
