As the Vice President of Contracts & Legal at SYSTRA India, Saurabh Chaturvedi brings nearly three decades of distinguished experience at the intersection of legal strategy, governance, contracts, compliance, and enterprise risk. Over the course of his career, he has advised businesses across infrastructure, energy, renewables, real estate, FMCG, consumer electronics, and other engineering-led sectors. Moreover, he has earned a reputation for legal rigor, commercial discernment, and steady leadership in complex and high-stakes environments.

In his current role, Saurabh leads the Legal, Contracts and Secretarial function for SYSTRA India’s cluster operations. He has board-relevant oversight across the legal and contractual architecture that underpins business growth, project delivery, and institutional resilience. He provides strategic counsel on major bids, complex contractual frameworks, and joint venture structures. Additionally, he advises on dispute resolution, arbitration, litigation strategy, governance processes, CSR-related matters, and transaction support. He works alongside senior leadership to strengthen legal, contracting discipline, sharpen risk governance, and align legal strategy with business priorities. Importantly, his contribution is defined not only by technical depth, but by the ability to bring clarity, control, and commercial balance to critical decisions.

Prior to joining SYSTRA India, Saurabh held senior legal and contracts leadership roles at several global organizations, including ReNew Power, ALSTOM, Moser Baer, among others. This broad cross-sector experience has equipped him with deep expertise across EPC contracting, regulatory advisory, compliance and ethics, investigations, land due diligence, litigation management, and strategic transaction support. A Six Sigma Green Belt certified professional, he combines disciplined execution with a business-enabling perspective. Furthermore, his expertise is supported by qualifications in law and commerce. He also has advanced training from leading institutions and a longstanding commitment to governance, integrity, and institutional stewardship.
