Renu Bohra is a transformational human resources leader known for aligning people strategy with business ambition across complex, fast-evolving organizations. Over the years, she has been a trusted advisor to leaders on talent, growth, culture, transformation, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and leadership development. Renu holds a strategic foresight with disciplined execution. This enables organizations to scale, adapt, and build long-term resilience across diverse business contexts and geographies.

As CHRO of SYSTRA India, Renu Bohra brings her expertise to one of the most crucial sectors shaping the country’s future: urban mobility and transport infrastructure. She brings a strategic and business-focused approach to strengthening leadership capability, building scalable people frameworks, and shaping a culture that supports growth, performance, and collaboration. Moreover, her leadership is centered on creating the organizational capability required to deliver in a fast-changing and high-impact sector. Renu is particularly valued for guiding enterprise change, building leadership depth, and ensuring that talent strategy supports both immediate business needs and long-term value creation.

Before joining SYSTRA India, Renu held senior HR leadership roles at NEI (NBC Bearings), DB Schenker India & Indian Subcontinent, and Blue Star, where she led large-scale people agendas across India and international operations. Across these assignments, she drove transformation, strengthened succession and leadership pipelines, improved organization design and performance systems, supported M&A and restructuring initiatives, built high-trust workplace cultures, and contributed to the establishment and scaling of new capabilities. These included technology hubs and operational infrastructure.

Renu Bohra’s academic and professional credentials reflect both depth and range. She holds an MBA in HR, an M.Phil. from IIT Roorkee, where she was a Gold Medalist, an M.Sc. in Mathematics, and an M.Sc. in Counselling & Psychotherapy. She has also completed the Senior Management Program at IIM Calcutta. In addition, she earned an OD Certification from ISABS and holds professional certifications in  Brain-Based Coaching, Mentoring, and Independent Directorship. In addition, she is certified in leading assessment tools including Hogan, Korn Ferry, Thomas, and PI.
