Context
The role exists to produce 2D CAD documentation and design drawings of a quality indistinguishable from those produced in our ANZ offices, in line with SYSTRA and Australian and New Zealand standards, client specifications and the relevant Australian or international drafting codes.
Missions/Main Duties
COMMUNICATION

DOCUMENT WRITING

TEHNICAL EXPERTISE
- Prepare general arrangement, layout, sectional and detail drawings from engineer mark-ups, sketches and 3D models.
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions and issue records in accordance with ANZ document control protocols.
- Perform CAD quality checks against project standards — CAD manual compliance, layering, line weights, title blocks.
- Coordinate drawings across disciplines under the direction of the discipline lead.
- Contribute to the development of the offshore knowledge library — templates, blocks, drafting standards.

Profile/Skills
Education:
Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education. Your degree should be relevant to the field of consulting in projects you are currently working on.
Essential
- Three or more years of demonstrated AutoCAD experience on civil, structural or building services projects.
- Working knowledge of Australian or international drafting standards; familiarity with the AS 1100 series is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering sketches and produce production-quality drawings.
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, drafting or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong written and spoken English; capacity to operate within ANZ business hours overlap.
Desirable
- Experience on rail, water, tunnels or major infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to Microstation, Civil3D, or Bluebeam
- Prior experience working with Australian or New Zealand-based design teams.
