As the Business Line Head – Systems at SYSTRA India, Mr. Parveen brings a rare combination of government-sector depth and corporate agility to the nation’s most complex transit challenges. A Gold Medalist in Electronics & Communication Engineering and an IRSSE officer, he is a veteran leader. He has over 30 years of expertise in metro rail systems, signalling, and project delivery.

Parveen’s career is defined by his foundational role in the Delhi Metro Phase 1 & 2 and his tenure as Director on the Board of Rapid Metro Gurgaon. At Rapid Metro, he pioneered operational excellence and digitalization. He oversaw India’s first fully elevated metro depot. Moreover, his technical mastery spans the entire systems lifecycle—including CBTC signaling, telecommunications, traction power, and automated fare collection.

A recognized authority at the national level, Parveen serves as an expert member on Government Committees for the standardization of Metro O&M and Signalling. At SYSTRA, he leads multidisciplinary teams across major hubs like Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai. As a result, he ensures seamless system integration and capacity enhancement. His strategic vision focuses on safety, energy efficiency, and high-performance team building. He consistently delivers world-class, future-ready urban mass transit solutions.
