SYSTRA IBT was responsible for detailed guideway design and construction supervision of four miles of elevated guideway carrying twin tracks with continually welded rails fastened to the top of the superstructure. Three stations are along the alignment. The project is located in an environmentally sensitive area.

A unique V-shape triangular cross section was developed for this project. This optimized superstructure quantities and reduced the visual impact from the ground.

The bid for the successful contractor was $25 million under the owner’s estimate.
