SYSTRA is an integral member of the team responsible for the design of the $41 million Merced to Madera (M-M) extension of the California High-Speed Rail system. The initial work is to complete the configuration footprint for the project (NTP-1).

Using the configuration management approach, the team is establishing the pathway to final design, permitting, and right-of-way acquisition. Employing our experience designing half of the world’s high-speed rail lines, SYSTRA is responsible for risk/configuration management, systems integration, systems design, and structural and seismic support for the preliminary design to define the project’s footprint.
