SYSTRA has completed 17,000+ Square kilometer of Statutory Master Planning and 15+ City Development Plans (CDPs).

We are seeking applications for the position of Socio-Economic Expert for Upcoming Urban Planning Project.

Missions/Main Duties

• Conduct socio-economic profiling of the project area, including population characteristics, employment patterns, income levels, housing conditions, education, and social infrastructure.
• Analyze social and economic development indicators to support planning interventions.
• Design and implement household surveys, socio-economic surveys, and stakeholder consultations.
• Develop survey methodologies, questionnaires, and sampling framework.
• Analyze population trends, growth patterns, migration characteristics, and demographic structures.
• Prepare population projections and demographic forecasts.
• Provide socio-economic inputs for preparation of Master Plans, Development Plans, Regional Plans, and Urban Development Strategies.
• Support land use planning, housing assessments, livelihood studies, and infrastructure planning through socio-economic analysis.

Profile/Skills

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in socio-economic studies, demographic analysis, and field surveys.
• Post Graduate Degree in Statistics, or Sociology, or Economics, or Geography, or Demography.
• Strong knowledge of socio-economic research methodologies and survey techniques.
• Expertise in demographic analysis and population forecasting.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
