We are seeking applications for the position of Chief Environment Health & Safety Engineer for PMC Service for Property Development & Miscellaneous Works in Southern Region.

Missions/Main Duties

  • EHS Leadership

    • Develop, implement, and manage the Project EHS Plan in line with local regulations, international standards (such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001), and client requirements.
    • Lead and mentor the project’s EHS team to ensure a consistent and proactive approach to safety and environmental management.
  • Compliance & Risk Management

    • Ensure that all project activities comply with statutory EHS standards and industry best practices.
    • Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, audits, and inspections across the project site.
    • Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Training & Awareness

    • Organize and conduct EHS induction, training, and refresher sessions for all project staff, contractors, and site visitors.
    • Promote a culture of safety through awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, and engagement activities.
  • Incident Management

    • Oversee incident/accident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
    • Maintain records of incidents, near-misses, and track trends for ongoing improvement.
  • Documentation & Reporting

    • Ensure EHS documentation, permits, and regulatory reports are up-to-date and accurate.
    • Prepare and present EHS performance reports, dashboards, and compliance updates for management and clients.
  • Environmental Management

    • Supervise environmental monitoring and ensure compliance with environmental management plans (EMPs).
    • Coordinate waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives as per project and legal requirements.
  • Stakeholder Coordination

    • Liaise with local authorities, clients, contractors, and community representatives on EHS matters.
    • Attend project meetings and represent EHS interests during project reviews and audits.

Profile/Skills

  • Master’s degree in industrial safety.
  • Graduate in Civil Engineering or Equivalent. & PG Diploma in industrial Safety.
  • More than 15 years of experience.
  • Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
  • Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
