Context
The Technical Coordinator provides administrative, coordination, and project support to the Systems Engineering and Systems Assurance teams on the Hamilton Project. The role is responsible for maintaining action trackers, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), coordinating and rescheduling meetings, preparing, and updating presentations, and tracking the status of deliverables and actions.
Working across multiple disciplines, the Technical Coordinator facilitates effective communication, follows up with team members to ensure timely closure of actions, supports reporting requirements, and assists with the organization of project documentation and schedules. The position plays a key role in ensuring team efficiency, alignment, and timely execution of project objectives by providing proactive coordination and support wherever required.
Missions/Main Duties
Core responsibilities include:
Maintain and update project action trackers, risk logs, and follow-up registers.
Monitor, compile, and report KPIs for Systems Engineering and Systems Assurance activities.
Coordinate, schedule, and reschedule meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions.
Prepare, update, and track PowerPoint presentations, reports, and meeting materials.
Follow up on action items and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
Support the preparation of project dashboards, status reports, and management updates.
Facilitate communication and coordination across engineering, assurance, and other project disciplines.
Maintain project records, meeting minutes, and document registers.
Assist with planning, scheduling, and administrative activities to support project delivery.
Provide ad hoc coordination and administrative support across teams as required.
Profile/Skills
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience maintaining trackers, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- This role serves as a central coordination point for the Systems Engineering and Systems Assurance functions, helping ensure activities, deliverables, and communications remain organized, visible, and on schedule.
