We are seeking applications for the position of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Expert in various cities across India.

Missions/Main Duties

 
  • Develop and implement Project Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management Plans.
  • Establish project-specific HSE objectives, procedures, standards, and performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, environmental, and regulatory HSE requirements.
  • Develop site-specific safety procedures for marine, waterfront, and construction activities
  • Monitor and supervise HSE performance during:

Jetty and terminal construction

River works

Marine construction activities

Dredging operations

Piling and foundation works

Structural and MEP installations

Floating pontoon and waterfront infrastructure works

  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure adherence to approved HSE procedures.
  • Ensure safe working practices for marine construction activities and water-based operations.
  • Develop and enforce marine safety procedures for vessels, barges, pontoons, floating equipment, and waterfront operations.

 

 

Profile/Skills

  • Graduate in Civil/ Mechanical/ Marine/ Environmental engineering or Health and Safety.
  • Additional specialist training and qualifications directly relevant to safety in IWT/ ports/ large Infrastructure construction projects.
  • Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in in the River works/ Marine construction/ Port/ Jetty/ Dredging projects. Should have exposure to international-safety standards and relevant experience and skills in safety concerns in Port/ IWT infrastructure projects and implementing best practices in safety.
  • should not be more than 50 years of age as on the date of submission of tender.
