A unique opportunity to join our thriving Transport Advisory team in either our Dublin or Cork offices as an Associate, becoming a leading part of the continued growth during this exciting period for Transport Infrastructure investment in Ireland under the £22bn National Development Plan. Missions/Main Duties
- Delivery of transport modelling and data analytics projects to external clients and supporting internal departments
- Effectively manage subconsultants, joint venture partners and framework contracts
- Project management and commercial responsibility of complex high value proposals
- Ensure successful project delivery to time, cost, quality across multidisciplinary teams
- Identify, develop and maintain relationships with main client contacts, including presenting and high-level engagement
- Provide support in achieving the targets for work winning and delivery through business development, bid writing and client engagement
- Raise the profile of SYSTRA by writing articles or delivering papers at conferences
- Work with clients to understand ultimate objectives and desired outcomes for each project
- Ensure the effectiveness of our solution in meeting the client’s needs, with excellent analytical, report writing and presentation skills (working with SYSTRA's Graphic Design Team to prepare high quality materials as required)
- Develop and deliver effective stakeholder engagement plans and communications material for individual projects as required, including public consultation
- Support/mentor less experienced project/proposal managers including line managing a small team
- Introduce the latest techniques and be recognised as an expert both internally and externally
- Undertake technical training, and lead innovation initiatives
- Encourage interaction and cross-fertilisation of knowledge between technical staff
Profile/Skills
- Degree qualification in a relevant subject, ideally Data Analytics, Economics, Civil Engineering, Statistics
- Significant depth of Transport Modelling experience for winning and delivering complex transport modelling projects, including appraisal, technical report writing, cost benefit analyses
- Demonstrate experience in overseeing the application and/or development of transport models including strategic transport models, local area models, micro-simulation models.
- Experience in industry software packages and Irish transport models for example Saturn, CUBE, PTV Visum, PTV Vissim, Aimsun, Paramics, NTA Regional Modelling System, TII National Transport Model
- Depth of project management experience including client liaison and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with wider the transport planning field for example transport strategy development, local transport plans, scheme development, development planning, etc.
- Strong numerical and Excel skills
- Experience and passion for mentoring and growing less experienced team members, with line management and advantage
- €30m+ project size exposure
- Leading multidisciplinary teams
