Currently, we are bidding for Bridge projects across Bangladesh. The position of Sr. Hydraulic/River Training Engineer is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

• Conduct flow simulations, flood analysis, and sediment transport studies to assess river behavior around the bridge site.
• Design structures such as spurs, guide bunds, revetments, and embankments to protect the bridge and control river flow
• Evaluate potential scour around bridge piers and abutments; develop countermeasures like riprap or sheet piling.
• Oversee implementation of river training structures, ensuring alignment with design specifications and adaptive modifications as needed.
• Analyze historical rainfall, river discharge, and catchment area data to guide design parameters and seasonal risk planning.

Profile/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering/Water resource engineering, post- graduate degree preferred.
• Min.12 years of experience professional experience in related field.
• Min.8 years of design experience in hydraulic/River training and protective works in similar bridge project
