Taichung Blue Line MRT, Taiwan

Taichung’s Blue Line MRT in Taiwan is a new fully automated transit system to connect the port of Taichung, Taichung university, Taichung city up to the Empire Sugar Factory station. It comprises of 20 stations over a 24km long alignment with both underground and elevated stations, and a long-term capacity of 12,220 passengers per hour and per direction.

SYSTRA in partnership with local engineering firm CECI delivers Basic Design services for Taichung Blue Line MRT.

In close collaboration with our partner’s civil engineering team, we define the basic design requirement for the E&M systems, including system-wide operation & maintenance, system integration and system assurance.

Our mobilization of a front office supported by a pool of overseas international experts makes the whole of SYSTRA’s expertise available to our client to address the project operational and technical challenges.
