Sentosa Express, Singapore

The Sentosa Express is a customized monorail system owned by Sentosa Development Corporation (“SDC”) that connects the main island of Singapore to Sentosa island. SDC decided to review its outsourcing model and to rely on a Long-Term Contract including Operation, Maintenance and Overhaul of the system to ensure its safe operation and extend its lifetime.

SYSTRA provided technical assistance to help SDC prepare its tender and evaluate proposals.

We mobilized a team of multi-disciplinary experts comprising of Operation & Maintenance experienced professionals and Monorail system experts to specify the scope of works to be contracted, mitigate the execution risks and propose tender, evaluation criteria, thus optimizing the long-term asset value for our client whilst preserving passenger safety and operational performance.
