In 2019, SMRT carried out the migration of the Operation Control Center for Singapore’s North-East Line and East-West Line MRT from Victoria Street to Kim Chuan Depot.

SYSTRA provided Independent Consultancy Services to ensure the robustness and safety of the migration operation.

Our consultant’s team gathered System Assurance professionals and Automated systems technical experts to assess through documentation reviews and on-site audits:

  • the readiness of SMRT plan for the migration,
  • the management of Safety-related functions
  • the robustness of the Fall Back Plan

We finally delivered our conclusion on an Operational & Safety Readiness Report supporting the case.
