Context

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for the checking of Rebar detailing drawings to ensure deliverables are compliant with applicable standards, codes, specifications, etc., 

Missions/Main Duties

• Responsible for the checking of Rebar detailing drawings to ensure deliverables are compliant with applicable standards, codes, specifications, etc.,
•Supervise and support task assigned to CAD Technicians,
•Resolve technical and complex issues,
•Coordinate with other CAD Leads to ensure consistencies of presentations across drawings and ensure drafting Quality Control (QC) is implemented,
•Review and checking CAD outputs and ensuring that CAD Technicians apply Lessons Learned and follow CAD Standards, drawing processes and drawing production guidelines

Profile/Skills

• Advanced computer and software skills in preparing Rebar detailing drawings (AutoCAD and Revit software or equivalent)
• Advanced knowledge in Structural design and Rebar detailing works
• Ability to manage a team of drafters
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision
• Analytical and problem solving skills
