With a grant funded by AFD to Bandung Local Transport Authority, the masterplan project aimed on analyzing the long-term transport project set out by the municipality. Result of the study outlooked the carbon emission as result of Bandung Future Development Plans. In addition, possible transport scheme was to be proposed and tested to optimize the current transport strategy by potentially reducing the carbon emission in Bandung City.

In this project SYSTRA Paris was selected to be the main consultant whilst SYSTRA Singapore was to lead on the transport related works including traffic surveys, transport literature study and transport modelling works.
